This blog is intended to be hyper-local. It will focus on Lake Champlain, and more specifically the Northeast Arm or Inland Sea.  It will cover many aspects of the region, but one goal is to occasionally create posts that provide reference information useful to lake fisherman everywhere.

I plan to use inexpensive fishing gear coupled with available consumer electronics and inexpensive apps to achieve the kind of success available to the fishing technology heavy large boat, down rigger fisherman.

To quote John F. Kennedy on America’s quest to walk on the Moon.  “We do not do this because it is easy, we do it because it is hard.”
